Facebook-Parent Meta exceeded expectations for its quarterly revenue

In light of the move in the digital advertising industry to tried-and-true platforms like Facebook and Instagram at a period of rising economic uncertainty, Meta Platforms Inc. predicted second-quarter revenue on Wednesday that was higher than market forecasts.

In contrast to analysts' projections of $29.53 billion, the business anticipates current-quarter sales between $29.5 and $32 billion, according to Refinitiv data.
