RBI chief honored with ‘Governor of the Year’ award, London Central Banking honored

At the same time, he has played a very commendable role in dealing with inflation in the midst of volatility in the global markets. Even during the Corona crisis, he had won the accolades of the people with his decisions. During that time he had instructed the banks to give exemption in EMI for a few months.

Earlier on Tuesday, Reserve Bank Governor Shaktikanta Das had said in the opening address given at the summer meetings organized by Britain’s Central Banking in London that the process of controlling inflation will be slow and long and the inflation target of 4 percent in the medium term. aims to achieve.

He said that given our population and the huge increase in the workforce every year due to the ‘demographic dividend’, we cannot remain oblivious to the developmental concerns.
